Coastal fronts and coastal zones are the boundary between land-sea, natural-artificial environment, urban fabric-open space & light-darkness. All these contrasts that occur in coastal zones are taken into account in the lighting intervention which was based on 3 axes:

- The balance of the contrasts observed between the city and the marine environment.

- The reinforcement of the cultural character of the coastal front and its connection with the history of the place.

- The needs of operation of zones of the coastal front. 

The lighting proposal aims to to highlight the identity of the area and expand the social activities of people even when the sun goes down.
